My name is Mayra Cortez. I am a visual artist, artisan jeweler, and the founder of Vivi Taller de Arte.
My work is inspired by nature, symbolism, and the wisdom of Andean-Amazonian peoples. Through imagination and research, I have used my art, painting, and jewelry making as a channel to convey deeper messages — where connection to traditional arts, memory, and ancestral wisdom have been my great pillars for understanding the nobility of materials and the meaning of those who create them.
